Altos expects enterprise AI spending to enter a new phase as projects move from proof-of-concept to commercial deployment. Jackie C.C. Lee, CEO and president of Altos Computing Inc (安圖斯), Acer’s server solutions subsidiary, said in an interview with the Taipei Times that this year’s initiatives increasingly extend beyond pilots. Speaking from Altos headquarters in New Taipei City’s Sijhih District on Tuesday, Lee said the company has 60 to 70 potential AI projects in its pipeline and expects to add more this quarter. He attributed longer stays in POC to concerns about data security, AI accuracy, and deployment models, with many firms favoring cloud platforms over costly AI servers. To address talent shortages, Altos expanded partnerships with system integrators in Taiwan, Southeast Asia and India to deliver end-to-end AI solutions. Lee also cited its BrainSphere GB10 F1 workstation, built on Nvidia’s Grace Blackwell architecture, and said Altos plans B300 systems in the second half of this year, plus next-generation servers based on Nvidia’s Vera Rubin platform next year.
