Racism allegation mars Swansea win at Millwall

Swansea’s Championship leadership was briefly overshadowed when a match at Millwall was paused after allegations of racist chanting aimed at visiting Eom Ji-sung. Referee Edward Duckworth stopped play in the 65th minute and spoke with Millwall boss Alex Neil, Swansea counterpart Vitor Matos and the fourth official, Ruebyn Ricardo, with Eom warming up as a substitute. After nearly seven minutes, stadium announcements said there had been a report of racist chanting and police were using CCTV to identify offenders. Despite the delay, Swansea remained top after a dramatic 1-0 win: Millwall dominated the first half but Swansea’s defence held. Substitute Ronald scored a last-minute winner after Opoku crossed, with Millwall hesitating before the Brazilian finished.
